Selections in the map widget? #12

The selection tool in the map widget does not appear to work. It shows the dialog (with three selection modes) but when I attempt to select some points, nothing happens. There is no indication that anything has been selected,

@friedcc When you created the map widget, did you check the box to make them selectable? Also, if the features don't belong to a feature service, the "selectable" box won't even be there.
