Address #677 - possible hang on new project

Refactor HasMapGraphics property to not use .Result based on feedback

@jmccausland - thanks for the tip- we probably won't refactor all the properties with this particular PR (since the issue is already a bit hard to repro) but it is good to know we should be following this newer pattern (this code does go back to Pro 1.2)
