Where can I find the ANZLIC metadata profile? #220

I'm trying to install the ANZLIC metadata profile for Esri Geoportal Server 1.2.6. The page at http://www.linz.govt.nz/about-linz/what-were-doing/projects/anzlic-metadata-profile/faqs-anzlic-metadata-profile mentions:

If an ESRI software user has an Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) including ArcGIS Server products then the ANZLIC Metadata Profile functionality in the GeoPortal Server Extension for ArcGIS Server is included at no additional charge

I've written to Eagle and Linz but haven't yet heard back. Does anyone from the Esri Geoportal team have access to the ANZLIC metadata profile in the meanwhile? Thanks

Hey Stephen, SImon here from Esri Australia. AFAIK, this is something we put together, but I am not sure if we maintain it anymore. I think we have a version that worked alongside 10.3. Recommend putting a support ticket in as they will be able to get you the definitive answer to this.

Actually I did that and they referred me to the Desktop tools at https://esriaustralia.com.au/products-metadata-editing-tool

I'm not sure if that's because the analyst didn't understand the question and/or wasn't familiar with Geoportal Server, or whether he was correct and I need to use that file - I haven't had a chance to delve into it yet.

re: "I think we have a version that worked alongside 10.3" - are you also thinking of Desktop/Server? Note that this request is for Esri Geoportal Server, which is currently at version 1.2.7, ie totally disconnected from the 10.x release cycle.

If there are metadata profile definition files and gxe configuration files for anzlic for geoportal server, we can include those in our github repo in the profiles section where we also have ISO 19110 for example.
