What would be really useful is to query the Instagram API leveraging its capacity to search by a geo point and a distance. Using Streamlayers, it will make it easy to build storymaps for one particular location with a dynamic feed of georeferenced instagram media, very useful for local govt, for emergency situations, ...

Thanks Christophe for the feedback. There are no current plans to enhance the Instagram implementation released with 10.2 ... but we're interesed in what the GIS community at-large needs from this connector. I've posted your enhancement suggestion to the forum (http://forums.arcgis.com/forums/257-GeoEvent-Processor) to start a discussion.
