STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: When indicating a tilt-rotor capability for a Marine Corps Osprey, there is no modifier to use with a symbol indicating that the equipment has functions unique to the Osprey.
PROPOSED SOLUTION: To meet this requirement, the Marine Corps proposes a Modifier 1 – TR for “tilt-rotor” to be added to the Unit and Equipment modifier 1 tables for inclusion into MIL-STD 2525.
