Salesforce Bug Type: Product
Salesforce Severity: Low
Repro Data: \\esri.com\sf_filestore\PRD\Attachments\Defects\ENH-000116271
Work Around: User Story:

Autocomplete is expected in Search functions, and both myself and my user would have found this functionality intuitive. Furthermore, when typing in an attribute slowly, the Select Option dialog box does not consider characters typed more than a half second apart to be a group. For example, if we type "J," then "O" three seconds later, the list will highlight the features starting with "O" rather than "JO"

Steps to Demonstrate:

  1. In the attached Map Package, begin an edit session and digitize a Site Address Point with the Point Construction Tool.
  2. This brings up the Select Option Panel.
  3. Type "BA" quickly - this highlights Babst Ct. Then, type "B," wait two seconds, and type "A." This highlights Abbeywood Dr.
