Implement Runtime/Pro Style Changes for next Release #263

Closed csmoore closed 6 years ago

csmoore commented 7 years ago

Summary of Issue:

Runtime has added some additional tables and meta table entries to enhance the dictionaryrenderer. These changes should be made in the official/maintained version of these style in this repo and tested prior to the next release of these styles/renderers with Runtime + Pro. Just adding an issue now to announce and track this change. Screenshots of changes below - and we can also obtain the modified runtime versions of these styles.

Changes (screenshots below):

Describe the product and version used:

I'm not 100% sure of when this change is going in, so we should coordinate - best guess below:

Include the military symbology standard and version/change set (ex. -2525D):

All stylx versions in this repo (2525D, 2525C, 2525B Change 2)

@Dbarnes1 - just checking back on this to make sure as edits happen (ex: #266 ) they happen to the same controlled version

Dbarnes1 commented 7 years ago

@csmoore I was under the impression that these tables haven't been added to the stylx files yet, and won't happen for the update 1 release of runtime quartz or Pro 2.0. Our current source stylx files in the repo don't yet have these tables/changes

Dbarnes1 commented 7 years ago

@csmoore checked with runtime, we're good to make changes for now, changes won't happen until 2.1/update2

@Dbarnes1 Thanks for checking - just making sure these different versions/fixes are being coordinated

I don't think these changes were ever made to the 2525D/C_B2 styles/renderer so I believe this issue can be closed. @topowright @ACueva @dfoll @lfunkhouser you may want to just confirm with Core there are still no plans to do this.

These changes were completed to the app6.stylx so that work is done also.

This is no longer an issue. The issue came about from a misunderstanding of something we had to be done. It is no longer valid.
