Text are right aligned in the textbox on Gridded Reference Graphic widget pane. #182

Bug or Enhancement

The text are right aligned in the textbox on Gridded Reference Graphic widget pane.

Repo Steps or Enhancement details

  1. Ghost clean Win10 64bit ENU OS.
  2. Log in ArcGIS Online QAext site (https://l10n.mapsqa.arcgis.com) with valid account.
  3. Create a 2D Web App Builder or edit an existing app and select a map in Map tab.
  4. Navigate to Widget tab and click on a blank widget icon.
  5. Select Gridded Reference Graphic widget and click OK button to save default settings on the configure page.
  6. Click the Gridded Reference Graphic widget icon on Map field.
  7. Expand Define a Grid from an Area->Choose By Dimension.
  8. Click "Draw GRG Area tools using polygon" icon and draw a polygon on the map.
  9. Click Create GRG button and input valid string in Published GRG Layer Name input box.
  10. Observe.

Actual Result: The inputted text are displayed in the incorrect position of Published GRG Layer Name text box of Publish GRG to Portal pane. Please refer to the screenshot for details

Expected Result: The text should be displayed left aligned in Published GRG Layer Name text box of Publish GRG to Portal pane.

Additional Information:

  1. This defect also occurs with Published GRG Layer Name text box of GRG from an Area by Reference System/GRG from Point by Dimension/GRG from Point by Reference System/ GRG from Point by Time and Speed pane.
  2. This defect also occurs with GRG Origin (DD) text box of GRG from Point by Dimension/GRG from Point by Reference System/ GRG from Point by Time and Speed pane.
  3. This defect also occurs on IE11/Edge/FF/Safari browsers.
  4. This is a new feature on Qaext site.

Configuration:

  1. Build Version: AGOL 6.1 Qaext site.
  2. OS: ENU Win10 64BIT
  3. Browser: Chrome 4: Found by date: 3/22/2018
