Overhead Three Phase Medium Voltage Line Switch-01

Is a line switch disconnect or load break? Or either? If load break, does it need a xfmr to power the switch?

It can be either. load break does not mean it needs a xfr, that would be remotely controlled, scada controlled or programmable. Load break means is load break arcing horns on the switch or some other way of extinguishing the arc.. We do need diagrams of those, but these two diagrams look correct to me.
