New site recently launched, mentioned at the UC – it can reference materials on ArcGIS Online, do so with our toolbox / add-in.

I spent much longer than I'd like to admit trying to use the REST API to update the item to show up, but no dice. The application is configured to only accept a set list of item types, and updating the metadata is insufficient to fix this. Item types are immutable once an item is created, so I had to settle for creating a duplicate item which cross-references the original. Silver lining: we'll be able to tell how many downloads we specifically get from the codesharing site.
