Beacons not detectable with Android-SDK #93

Hi everyone ! I've clone the demo repository from "Android-SDK" and everything launches fine on my android device (running on 4.4 +). However, when I "Distance demo" button to search for Beacons near me, nothing can be found, but I 've tried with my iphone 6 and it works like a charm. I've also tried to set a custom UUID in my android app (the same as provided by Estimote's transmitter) but still not working.

Does anyone know why?

Regards,

Can you install Estimote app from Play Store and check it again?

What is your device?

Hi wiktor, thanks for your answer. Well I'm using a Beacon app as a transmitter with my iOS device and my Android device is just basically trying to detect the Beacon (being the advertiser). I've used an iOS from my friend and works like a charm to detect the Beacon, but it does not work with my Motorola G (4.4.4 Android version). When I press "Distance" button, "0" beacons found.

It will not work. Use Estimote app on ios to act as beacon.
