Edit single repeating event

Editing recurring events is rather suboptimal. Other calendars can delete or edit a single event from a sequence without disturbing the rest.

Alternative approach (sort of), which also isnt an available feature:

Allow copying an Event (either single instance or the whole recurring series) to another Calendar within ETAR.

Example: As a workaround,

• I have one recurring-weekly Event,, which contains all the Zoom meeting links (i know, i know, we should be using Jitsi... tell that to our group facilitator...) .
• I also have a separate Event -- different each week -- of just single instances, containing that week's unique agenda.

I tried Settings -> Calendars -> new Offline calendar.

Then I tried to copy the recurring event to my second offline-calendar... ... But didnt see a way to do so. (Longpress? etc.)

It would be nice if we could copy these events across different offline cal accts!

I want to bump this issue. I have set a repeating event for a sports club I'm attending. When the club goes on holiday break, I'd like to be able to remove the events during that break, without touching events that come after.
