6 days ago Update: There's a really weird thing about the Level.sav and the program. I'm noticing that the ONLY time it will work is when I drag the .sav file directly onto the Desktop. I doubt that is by design, but it acts like the .sav file is in use when trying to access the file literally anywhere else.

So I just started using v0.8 yesterday. Initially it worked fine and there were no problems. However, last night after playing for a bit, I tried editing again and I can load the .sav file fine, but I can't save any of the changes I've made. I've looked through other posts and it seems like the issue has just magically been fixed for them. I'm gonna level with you and say I really don't know how to post debug information. I'm more than happy to provide if someone can explain it in simple terms.
