Use this to discuss development of the mod

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Okay. I'm here.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

ok hi

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

unsubscibe so it doesn't send you email notifications

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Okay, thanks.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

were you able to add a file?

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

I'm still trying to find the folder to add it in.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

did you clone the repository?

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Yes. I've gotten as far as C:\Users###\Documents\GitHub\Realms-of-Chaos.git. Then I get lost.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

are there files/folders other than realms-of-chaos.git?

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

In the client it shows others, but in the file explorer it shows realms-of-chaos and then .git inside.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

try opening the .git file as a folder

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Inside there are folders named branches, logs, info, hooks, objects, and refs.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

try deleting the realms-of-chaos folder and cloning it again

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Okay, they are there now.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

ok try adding a file and syncing it

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Okay. Did it work?

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

no

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

you committed it and then pressed sync branch?

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Okay. Its syncing now.

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

It seems to have worked.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

yep

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

ok cool thanks

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Okay. So what do you want me to do now? Any specific textures?

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

a red overworld ore

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

and wood and leaves for a nether tree

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Oky doky.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

thanks!

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

nether tree will be called Charwood

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

No problem. Need planks for that as well?

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

Yes please and dust and saplings

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Dust?

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Oh, for the ore?

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

Yes from the leaves. It will be used for crafting

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

No from the tree

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

Oh, okay. What color do you want the leaves and wood to be?

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

Leaves dark grey, wood dark red

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

Could you do 16X? It would be better with vanilla textures

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

No problem. I'm working on them in 16X.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

Ok thanks

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

I'll go code the trees

LegoShokwave123 commented 10 years ago

I'm adding the first batch of textures. If you don't like any, tell me so I can change them.

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

ok thanks

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago

I'm done coding leaves and ill sync them

Eternaldoom commented 10 years ago
