A sequence diagram would perhaps be suitable for explaining the logic.

Team's Response

We have a sequence diagram showing how add command is used. After consideration, we feel that a class diagram for logic component is more suitable.

Reason for disagreement: Implementation of the various logic of features will vary. Thus a sequence diagram for a single feature will not give an overview of how the different features work. Therefore, a class diagram will not suffice
