Project Update 1

Getting Started

This week, given that the cold weather lead to the cancellation of classes on Wednesday 1/30, we have remained unable to meet as a group to properly begin working on any formal aspect of our research. It has also been difficult to move forward given that I (Ethan) have not been able to located the username of one of our collaborators following the removal of certain project proposals from the course GitHub repo. This is partially my fault as well, given that I missed class on Monday 1/28 when I was sick and wasn't there to make sure I recorded this information. I have located the source of EAP's works on Project Gutenberg and so we are ready to move forward with deciding how we will analyze these texts as a corpus.

@Ethandaniel47 You can view closed issues on GitHub by opening the Issues tab and clicking on the link that says "closed" (with a number) near that topic. You can then sort the issues by date and skim for the one you're looking for. Closed Issues never go away, they just go into hiding.

Hi Ethan, It's me Matt, the other Poe Project Proposer who joined last Monday. Sorry I didn't make contact on Friday with you like I should have. Anyway, I am willing to meet after class Wednesday for a quick exchange of contact info if needed.
