Map and pins not aligning #14

Closed VoodooBoomstick closed 2 years ago

When I upload a .map file and the photo that corresponds with that .map file and I make sure that the scale is correct. Sometimes the picture is blurry and the pins line up but if the picture is at the proper resolution the pins do not line up

I also figured out that if you have a monitor above 1080p its kind of fucky but I luckily have a secondary 1080p monitor that I could download the picture of the map on in fullscreen

You will need to export the picture in "fullscreen" mode of your browser. Also, if you haven't already please check for updates as I have made several releases lately improving these things.

It looks like this is still an issue with the latest version image

Ethck commented 2 years ago

@tcaivano please ensure that the picture you took is of standard dimensions (think multiples of 1920x1080 or other resolution scales). You can export this picture by activating fullscreen mode in your browser, then exporting the picture from Azgaars.

image Can confirm that I'm at 8x 1080p

Hmm, can you attach the map file @tcaivano ? This really should work...

I got it to work. The map file you have was initially sized at 1920x1080, so if the monitor you save the export from is of a different size then everything would be wonky. image To fix this you can utilize the "Canvas Size" button to toggle back to the map's original size: image

That worked, thanks.
