The Etho Protocol Project has continued to evolve with amazing progress in 2021. Our last elections were in 2019 and much has changed, many people have come and gone. The remaining Council Members today decided it was time for an updated approach and team to effectively lead us into 2022 and beyond. Therefore it has been decided to hold elections in the Fall of 2021. Firm dates will be set shortly.
The current Council will publish new Council Format, for example, Board of Directors, Advisory Committee etc. by September 1st 2021. This new format will be effective on November 1st with the election of new Project Representatives.
Tentative Timeline:
October 1-7 Election Week
October 7-10 Runoffs (if there is a tie for a open slot)
November 1st Effective Date
September 1-14th Open for Candidates (everyone is welcome to run!). Candidates can post resumes/platform/ideas on the election page (to be created here on Github)
September 15th Closed to new Candidates.
September 15th - October 30th Candidates can lobby the community, seek support etc.
