The main ECNS revenue is now a 0,5% comission from cancelled deeds. Note that the main amount of spent money is still burned. I mean sealed bids that were not unsealed during the reveal period.
It is technically possible to allow deeds to be cancelled after the auction will be closed. There is no need to keep deeds for more than 7 days (each auction will last for 4 days max).
We can collect the money from the unrevealed bids without any problems.
