Design: What is the small calendar view on the front page intended to show? #44

The mockup just shows one narrow calendar row with 7 days. Are we expecting to actually show some scheduled events in these day boxes (how will they fit?) or are we expecting the user to click one day box and get some other page or pop-up with the actual events for that day?

From Renee: This is just a visual representation of a calendar. The idea is to create an intuitive-looking design for quicker identification of links/content by providing as many images/symbols/graphics in place of words as practical
