General discussions of Etica.AI: ethical use of automation and artificial intelligence. Concern about long-term problems. Interested in cooperating with Latin Americans working with non-profit social impact

readme.md description

# Etica.AI Forum

Etica.AI is at present a very small group of Latin Americans concerned with gathering information about the philosophy and the use of automation and artificial intelligence in which it privileges the human side of technology.

We are concerned about long-term problems: our current aim is to create the basis for the real group of people to have an idea of the dangers and especially the potential that automation and artificial intelligence can help them make the world a less hostile place.

Etica.AI is non-profit. We are interested in people who already have work with non-profit social impact, especially areas that may be affected very negatively in the coming decades and have an interest in longstanding cooperation. We have the ability to make you more productive in your bureaucratic tasks before the general population has access in exchange for you to help us have the technology and human capital needed in the future.

The basic concept already is on the site.

But after A LOT of interactions with people around the world, parts of what was written will change in some ways. Part of what was started will be archived or put "on hold" to give space for other priorities, but the tendency is give more importance for work done together with other well established groups (even if it means start things with people I'm preparing for months).

But one thing is for sure: (as expected from the start) things will take time, in special because the comunity around is not (yet) into AI to a point to be in A/IS ethics, and it was much harder on the start EticaAI than now.
