A future where an unassisted child or old man could use a series of weak artificial intelligence to be more efficient is a good future
In the distant future it will be possible for humans to use personal cognitive assistants, in which just who can not afford it is who needs it the most. Before that it is plausible to organize many weak intelligences, focused on very specific areas of knowledge and necessarily more concerned with interfacing to humans than just to machines. At Etica.AI, we should value the human side of the equation.
We are still at the beginning, but it is possible that if the first ten smart agents focused on simple tasks work well (both with users and within the availability of our infrastructure), it is quite feasible for us to scale to hundreds in the next few years.
Most of these agents at that time will be simple, they will probably encapsulate third-party code and give proper credits and release with an interface like chatbot. This can help Etica.AI at some point succeed in making a positive impact and of course getting help from humans who work on projects where resource optimization benefits society as a whole.
Our initial expectation about future is that we should do our best to ensure that whatever code an intelligent agent uses it will work within our infrastructure(See #30). We also want that besides humans can use the bots of very specific purpose, it is possible that bots can exchange information through chat. That is, a complex task is broken in many small tasks. That in a few years could allow fantastic results to streamline work for people who are not programmers, so our focus here would be to help just those who want to use that kind of technology for the sake of society instead of just generating job losses.Keep this warning in mind if in the future the technology will be powerful for you not to act predatory, even if access to the APIs is released.
