Dark theme accent colors are distubingly bright #122

I really appreciate that the dark theme now has an actually black background (even without an AMOLED display), but the deep indigo (blue?) phone status bar and the app menu bar at the top and bright purple color used for the viewed button and titles in the settings menu are very hard on the eyes, particularly at night. I realize Google has its material design colors they want apps to use, but other apps sometimes adhere to my theme setting on the phone (which makes the status bar at the top gray in my case) or use darker colors in dark themes. It would be really nice if there was an option or default to darker colors, certainly with less blue in them, for the dark theme. Or maybe a night theme option like F-Droid recently added to their app.

I'm partly with you: but I like the blue and rather get rid of the purple :) So maybe have an option to set different colors? Low-prio task of course :)
