I’m in OSCON all week, but let me check with the core team and see what we can come up with.

We meet Wednesdays at 4PM at codechops. Is that a possibility?

Regards, Mark

Hey Mark,

Thanks for reaching out. If you're willing, I'd love to chat in person! Would you be interested in grabbing lunch on Wednesday? As I mentioned before, Wednesday mornings are difficult for me to get to Barn Light, as I have meetings for Apprenti on Wednesdays.

I'd love to chat about your ideas and come up with some creative fun ways to work together and support each other! Let me know if you're free for lunch this Wednesday:)

Kindly, Lauren

In years passed we’ve coordinated a number of folks in the BCC. I’d like to propose the lobby of the BBC be a “Civic Showcase” and we could have orgs like EugeneTech, Eugene Women in Tech / RWIT, Eugene Coding Initiative, Coder Dojo, MVP Studio, and I’m sure we can find some others be set up. These would be volunteer organizations and would not have to pay the $100 registration fee each. This would help focus attention to these orgs, not have them get a “free pass” and upset the sponsors, etc. Maybe give them a special cloud of mini-logos on the map or something.

Just a thought. We like to participate in the tech-tour and we might be able to help wrangle that.

In years past, we’ve streamed the opening remarks and launch from kesey square. Please let us know if you would like to do that again or if you have another option. I think you have PA, but if you need that, we can provide it as well. If the weather is good, we might be able to schedule a KING-PONG appearance, either in the BCC or in Kesey Square after dark.

So many options to consider.

Regards, Mark

Hello Mark,

As a past participating company in TAO’s annual Eugene Tech Tour, I'm writing to invite EugeneTech & CodeChops to be part of the 4th Annual Eugene Tech Tour on Thursday, October 3rd starting at 5:00 pm.

Last year over 550 tourists registered to learn more about the growing technology community in the greater Eugene area - we expect to easily exceed that number in 2019! HOW IT WORKS FOR EUGENE AREA TECH COMPANIES • Sign up to host in YOUR OFFICE or at a pop-up booth in Downtown Eugene ($100). This is a great opportunity to increase the visibility of your organization as well as increase awareness of the local tech industry. • Lay out the snacks and drinks and open your doors on Thursday, October 3rd at 5 pm to tourists. Don't forget your SWAG and to have your team on hand to NETWORK! • Attendees with hand stamps will follow a pre-printed map and wind their way through Downtown Eugene to visit your company. Participants will be able to experience your company culture first-hand, network with your staff, and find out about CURRENT JOB OPENINGS AND INNOVATIONS. Eugene’s Tech Tour will culminate with an After Party at 8:00 pm, location To Be Announced. Happy to answer any questions you might have about the 2019 Eugene Tech Tour - and hope you will join us in October.

Kindly, Lauren
