This is the only missing feature that keeps me from ditching iTerm2 for Tabby. In iTerm2 there is a password manager that can be recalled both with a hotkey and through configurable triggers.
I don't know enough, but I might try at some point... one could make an addon for this.
This would be great.... I miss it from iterm2 as well.
Even a right click on the tab with an option "type user password" or something like this would be great.
I'm hunting for a Linux terminal that has the iTerm2 triggers/password manager features as well. Since tabby is not the one, does anyone know of a working one?
Any progress on this?
I'm remoting to a device running Ubuntu Server 21.10, using SSH with a password. I'd like to have an option in tabby so that whenever I get a
[sudo] password for username:
prompt, I'd like an option for Tabby to automatically fill in my password for me (assuming I've provided Tabby with a password for SSH, of course).Funding
