GNU screen display is broken (and has been for a long time). using reset or ctrl+l doesnt fix the problem. Killing tabby and restarting it does solve the problem for some time but quickly happens again (some problem with control characters?).
See example below with bottom line and cursor wrong:

same as you, restarting tabby will fix the problem, but just in a short time.
I have noticed this issue across Linux, Windows, and MacOS. Like ruinbow, it only happened after upgrading to 189. I haven't downgraded yet but going to have to, it renders tabby useless having to close and reopen it so regularly.
same with me 😢
This happens to me as well on my new work macbook. It's not happening on any of my Linux machines so I'll check the versions of those based on some of the other comments you all have shared.
Describe the problem: env
I updated my tabby today to newest version(189), then bug came. I have tried to switch version and reboot my mac, but bug still in there. I think I was using 17* version before I updated to 189.
In webgl mode, tabby will blink.
In canvas mode, display will be ugly, you can see a long line by vim prompt.
To Reproduce: I don't know how, maybe caused by neovim?
