This is a very magical issue that may occur on different devices. There was a previous issue specifically discussing the issue of acrylic style failure.

This issue is not related to the operating system, but may be the result of a combination of multiple factors such as the operating system, graphics card, and drivers.

Same issue on Windows 11 Build 22621.3085. I've tried various combinations of:

light & dark modes
legacy themes (standard, compact, paper)
default color scheme

And still only transparent without blur. Acrylic background works really well in Windows Terminal so this bug sure can be fixed.
