the icon is always cannot show #9147

i use alacritty ,securecrt, it can show icon ,tabby cannot

I have the same problem, and it was also reported at #8895 .

What I noticed: If you open one tab (let Tabby "initialize"), and then close all tabs, the next tabs you will open will show again the icons and other unicode characters. Definitely a bug in Tabby.

tabby terminal is bad, why is big size, the icon, is not fixed, tabby is not better terminal

Just wanted to let you know I got it working :) Adding a second font as a fallback option in the settings seemed to do the trick. Not really sure why sometimes the characters are not displayed even though the first font all has these characters (after all closing the tab and reopening it usually worked).
