hells-Core kernel settings from init.d script not active #34

Do you use Xposed framework? No

Your device: Mako

Which ROM version are you using? Euphoria-OS-1.1-mako-OFFICIAL-20150630 https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347766950

What kernel are you using - included in the ROM or from another source? hells-Core (hC-b80-L) http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/qa-kernel-hells-core-kitkat-b45-stable-t2495373

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Flash hells-Core kernel on a Euphoria installation
  2. Check the active CPU governor

What is the expected result? What do you see instead? According to the file /etc/init.d/00confg from the hells-Core kernel, "hellsactive" should be the governor. However, ondemand is used as the active governor. I expected to be able to use the settings the kernel comes with.

Is the result seen after a clean flash too? Yes

Attach a logcat and/or a last_kmsg . Without this, the issue is impossible to fix. Also see this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/rom-euphoria-os-1-0-t2997338/post61439559#post61439559

confirmed, i noticed that long time ago, discussed it with dexter. only way i found (and use) is to install the app "universal init.d" that runs every script that exists in init.d on boot and that way it works.

what is really strange is that all other settings on the 00confg from hellscore are applied except the governor
