we need to identify what is needed and how we apply for a visa to europe. Let's collect here all the information that we know on this topic here.

what is needed to apply for the visa?
what kind of visa do we need?
where do we apply?
what organisations can help us?

@vickyjr has already some experience. I guess also the other Mozilla guys have some travel experience.

I suggest we apply for a German visa I believe this will give us access to other Schengen countries. We also need to get a organization that will play the part of the inviting party (probably a government affiliated organization). The organization should be able so the us invitation letters, write to the German embassy in Kenya and also call the embassy during the the time our visas are are being processed. This is to build trust thus making it very deficult for any of us to miss a visa.

@myamy and me talked to a guy in Nairobi that helped several Kenyans to come to Germany. And he mentioned that they often times go through Amsterdam, as the people working at the German Embassy in Nairobi are ... inefficient. Wouldn't make any difference for Schengen though
