Add a flag canceled = BooleanField(default=False, blank=True) to the generic ticket class
Adjust the default manager to exclude(canceled=True).
In the admin change lists for tickets and the purchase inlines do show the canceled tickets: https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.5/ref/contrib/admin/#django.contrib.admin.ModelAdmin.queryset
