Font issue on systems with local font on http://www.europython-society.org/

Basically, I am only reporting this because I really love python. Ideally my initial bug report to the first address I saw in your site would have been just copy-pasted here instead of the dismissive reaction that followed, or dropped by the recipient as irrelevant. I still love python, but I cannot help loving EuroPython Society a lot less now.

This is what happens on estimatedly 50% of Debian Stretch systems:

if you care about fixing it, you can make @font_face prefer the remote font over local.

I can provide more details if someone actually cares about this.
