brightness adjustment #8

Open Pavelo77 opened 6 years ago

Hallo, thanks to you I can finally enjoy Dear Esther with my Oculus CV1, but the blacks are washed out and brightness adjustment in game doesn't work, is there any way to make it work or adjust it via an external config file or in any other way?

thanks

Pablo

My guess would be that they're using some kind of post processing effect (e.g. tonemapping) to enhance the image / change brightness.

Legacy post processing effects are somewhat supported and should be applied automatically depending on the VRGIN version -- maybe a call to VR.Camera.Refresh() is necessary, though.

If they're using one of the more modern post processing effects, then some more work would have to be done.

Does it still work on "Dear Esther"?
