Describe the bug Bug - Deploying a control tower disappears but shows on dscan for about five minutes.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Purchase a control tower and load into ship cargo. Fly to a moon (I tested in null sec because I had no standing) Open cargo and right click on control tower. Select launch for corporation and you hear the launch sound but no control tower to anchor. Open Directional scanner and set for max range and 360 degrees. You will see the tower somewhere in space but no where near the player.

Expected behavior When you deploy a control tower it should appear at least 100km from the player position. Then you have to anchor it which starts a timer. Next you have to put the fuel in the tower to turn the tower online After you can anchor other player modules for many different operations.

Screenshots Maybe will add later

Logging out and logging back in will make the control tower appear and you are then able to anchor it. But it can show up on the other side of the moon.

Control tower can be put online without fuel.

POS system is incomplete. most things are just barely a POC only. however, for anchoring, they are set to a specific point on the moon, which is NOT the typical warp-in point. i have notes about this on my forums.

Thanks. Seems like player position in space is not calculated correctly or server / client are not talking to each other or updating.

ZyenDomani commented 10 months ago

positions arent the problem...its' client/server data. this system was put on hold to work on more pressing things, and i never got back to it.
