Not sure how relevant this is here, but I noticed this example (as well as the Expo Router Layouts Example and the Instagram layout) regress on scrolling behavior, compared to React Navigation 6, see https://reactnavigation.org/blog/2020/05/16/web-support/#hide-address-bar-on-scroll
