Sorry I misunderstood your intentions of injecting the code into the actual game itself, I think it may be valid to do so in the future, I'll consider this one, though i'm not too sure what could be the use of this?
Hitsounding would be a lot easier if you're able to easily add a finish every 16 1/1s or a clap on every 1/1. Or have a clap on every chord size >= 2. Just as an example.
Otherwise, you're able to see accidental 1/16 missnaps by filtering the map for that snap.
