Updates to syntax colours used as fallbacks are not reflected after plugin starts #65

what i suspected was the cause of #60. probably wasn't but just keeping this here since it was closed

the expected behaviour should be that if an update to a colour used as fallback occurs, syntax colours that depend on it also update
