Those deprecation warnings, turns out both firefox and chrome dropped support for shadow piercing selectors. Everything that could've broken is now extremely broken.
I'll attempt to fix this issue because the site is completely unusable now. Upgrading to polymer 1.3.x and new element sets should fix most of the issues... hopefully.
