We are working on a transition of the operating system requirement for Evernode from Ubuntu 20.04 to the latest Ubuntu 24.04, released in April this year. After taking the necessary time to ensure compatibility, we have prepared a test release that you can now try on the Evernode Testnet. Your support is crucial in making this upgrade successful.
NOTES:
- We have decided to provide support for both Ubuntu 24.04 and Ubuntu 20.04 in this installer. The target is to test this version on both Ubuntu 24.04, and 20.04. So, we appreciate you trying this on both Ubuntu versions if you own any.
- If you are already running a test machine on the Evernode Testnet, you can transfer it by backing up your secrets and reinstalling this new version with the same accounts in the same machine or a new one.
- Since this is a private test, please ensure that you keep it confidential and avoid sharing these links on public forums.
To install, run the following command:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/EvernodeXRPL/evernode-beta-resources/main/sashimono/installer/evernode-test.sh | sudo bash -s installIf you encounter any issues during beta testing or have suggestions for improvement, please report them in the Issues section of this repository.
