Optimus laptops #2

This is an issue dedicated for troubleshooting all known issues with Optimus laptops.

When user tried to switch to the NVIDIA GPU, this was the output:

optimus-manager --switch nvidia
ERROR: a GPU setup was initiated but Xorg post-start hook did not run.
Log at /var/log/optimus-manager/switch/switch-20210427T202247.log
If your login manager is GDM, make sure to follow those instructions:

If your display manager is neither GDM, SDDM nor LightDM, or if you don't use one, read the wiki:

Cannot execute command because of previous errors.

I do not have the means to actively test this, if anyone can find a proper fix for this that helps hopefully all laptop configs, share it.

Never going to get this to work. Laptops are a waste of money anyways, not to mention trying to get this to work out of the box caused issues for desktop users. People who bought these gaming laptops have bigger problems anyways.
