We recently added a material physical property frame work to auxi. We only added limited data. For gases this only included air. We need to add some more materials.
Purpose
The purpose of this issue is to add material property data sets and models for a number of gases at atmospheric pressure.
Approach
Use the existing material physical property framework, and data from the latest edition of Lienhard, A Heat Transfer Textbook. The book is available for free on the internet.
Scope
The following saturated liquids must be added:
argon
ammonia
carbon dioxide
carbon monoxide
helium
hydrogen
nitrogen
oxygen
steam
You need to complete the following steps:
Create a data set for each material
Create a polynomial model for each property of each material
Store the models in json format
Create objects for the materials in the gases.py module, like it was done for air
Create an example Jupyter notebook to demonstrate the quality of fit for each property of each material
