Actually to be seamless EPGP should control HeadCount's standby list. You do
not want
to reduce EPGP's ability to handle the standby list to make it work with
HeadCount.

The real issue here is how the integration is to occur. They are both
fantastic
addons. We use both and integration would be wonderful.
Headcount keeps track of more information than EPGP. It shows offline status,
waitlist status, idle(AFK) status, etc. Which of these do you give EP for? If
you
want to assign different EP levels to these, then you need EPGP to read in
Headcount
information.
If you want Headcount to keep track of the EPGP waitlist, then you need the
opposite.

We give 100% EP to those on standby since, so far, it has not been abused and
those
on the list remove themselves when going offline or no longer available.
What would be most advantageous is for the EPGP addon to sync the lists
regardless
of which wait list someone was added to.

Is there a status update on this.
I'm interested in using Headcount for attendance tracking for guild ranks and
not
sure if its viable if I cant get the standby lists sync'd.
Thanks

Issue 577 has been merged into this issue.

Also very interested in this. I have been asking for a way to track attendance
% with EPGP for months. This requires two add ons for the Looters/Attendance
Trackers, however if they "Speak" to each other requiring only ONE WHISPER for
players who drop raid then I am very interested in this.
Update?

Doubtful if I can work on this. Any takers from the community?

Anyone? Come on guys. We all want this (or something similar)to happen so that
EPGP becomes a more complete add on that handles almost all raid
administration. Linking EPGP to headcount requires us to load two add ons, but
Headcount is already very powerful so it makes perfect sense to do this.
If I had a programmer background I would lend a hand, but sadly no...
I'm sure Alkis would help with the process if he had someone to get started and
do some of the heavy lifting at the start...

I don't see the need to be honest. Headcount already records the GP values for
loot, what else do you need, when there is that and EPGP Web as well?

dingochavezz,
How does your guild handle wait list players?
Do you make them whisper BOTH add ons?
EPGP to track points and Headcount to track attendance?
If so, this is the main reason to intergrate. That way players only need to
whisper once for EP and attendance tracking.
If you have another way to do this I am all ears.

Since EP is attendance tracking (they have to be in the raid or whisper
regularly to get EP), we basically use Headcount for posting a list to the
forums of who was online at the raid, what bosses were killed and a list of
loot dropped and how much it cost. I know that EPGP Web also shows the loot,
but some people don't want to look past our guild forums for information.
Over the years I have tried several different implementations of EPGP, and in
the end settled on using it exactly as Aphorism guild do (Alkis guild).
Anyway, lets see how things pan out with this new patch, and Cataclysm.
