Memory Error on login. #560

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable the EPGP Addon
2. Login
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Warcraft Crashes with a memory Error.

What version of the product are you using? What locale is your client (en,
ru, kr, ch, es, tw)? What other addons do you have installed and what
versions? How many members do you have in your guild? (/guildinfo).
Version-5.5.13
Locale EN
Recount
DBM
_NPC_scan
Decursive

All of the above are compliant with patch 3.3. For some reason EPGP is not
compliant and I have to check the load out of date mods.

Paste the text surrounded by -EPGP- in Guild Information here:

If this is about http://www.epgpweb.com integration, what is the realm
and region of your guild?

Please provide any additional information below.
I have tested this for over a week now. I started by gradually including
my mods 1 by 1 and testing wow for a day. At that time I had 2 out of date
mods, recount and EPGP.
Both Recount and EPGP caused wow to crash with a memory error. It was not
always on login, buy mostlty is and if not, then after 1 minute or so. I
have since updated recount and have now been running wow for over a week
with all mods and no errors excluding the EPGP mod. I tried to re-enable
it, by ticking the load out of date mods. and as soon as i logged in I got
the error again.

Why is the mod not showing as bgeing up to date ?

Can you disable recount and see if that works? The out of date error is a red
herring.

I can try it tonight when I get home and let you know, but tbh I use recount a
lot
and as that is showing as been up to date would prefer to keep that running if
I had
to choose.
