Consider mappings and/or reuse of terms from CHMO #50

The Chemical Methods Ontology has descriptions of different data types such as x-ray diffranction data and techniques such as high-resolution X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy

It would be useful to explore mapping PaNET terms to the data types and other terms described in CHMO.

Yes indeed, and there are some interesting points here.

First, it probably makes sense for a chemist to have x-ray diffraction data under crystallography data. For a physicist, x-ray diffraction could be far more general and may not involve crystallography.

I agree the mappings are very important. It would be helpful to understand how they might be implemented in a real application.

@spc93 any reason why not to leave this issue open until resolved? I'll reopen it and we can close it when resolved. thanks
