I think this is a question of scope. One suggestion was that PaNET should reasonably include all techniques that are often located alongside PaN facilities. We need to be clear about this.

"Electron crystallography is a method to determine the arrangement and types of atoms within a structure. The technique is used to study perfect crystal structures as well as defects and interfaces. When compared to X-ray crystallography, this technique allows samples six orders of magnitudes smaller to be studied. Moreover, the crystallographic structure factor phases can be easily determined numerically."
