I had a chat with @kylechard about using this for the tutorial in February. We both agreed that the configuration should be loaded from a stand-alone file. At a later time and in another context, we will need to write a dedicated documentation page about how to configure the executor (probably to be added to Parsl's documentation) and then see how we can improve the configuration process by extending the standard Parsl configuration file.

I would keep the tutorials under tutorial and use images, config, etc directories to store different types of ancillary files.
