VS Code Extension consume power significantly #30

I used Codeium on VS Code and consumed such power significantly compared to when I disabled it. I used a Macbook Pro M1 Pro 16 inch with Sonoma 14.2.1

Looks like the language server is consuming insane amounts of CPU. My computer is crippled with the update that happened a while ago.

I fixed this by disabling the search function in settings for the extension.

Happens on two of my Linux machines as well, started with the last update, I'm on v1.6.24

It took me a while to finger hobjkcpmjhlegmobgonaagepfckjkceh as this extension, but killing that made my MacOS Chrome WAY more responsive. This was taking >70% CPU while vscode wasn't even open and I had no input browser tab/windows open that could have been viably considered as source edits.

I'm disabling this extension for now.
