Can't access the API. Sometimes it responds and I get the XML output, and sometimes it don't.

Steps to reproduce:
1. I check my admin account that the credentials are correct
2. Run the php client file 
3. Receive nothing at all, it just blank. However, sometimes I get the responce 
of the XML output, but that's like 1 out of 20.

However, the API works fine if I browse to the API url and login manually 
there. Does anyone have a clue what's up?
