Flat plate fluttering validation tests from the 80's exists. Meshing and compatibility might not play well with the openfast structural model.

Criteria for V&V:

Aeromodel must be valid (no stall), Re must be > 500k -1M (tripped boundary layer) for RANS, or expressible via DNS
Structural model must be expressible via a beam.

Neil found an awesome paper that Kevin will forward. It has a beam and is an uncoupled model. Published in SciTech earlier in 2024 by some UK researchers.

Possible that the OpenFAST model is missing something that is needed for problems like this.

We seem to have converged on the series of papers/research the Neil and Ganesh found. This should close out this task and open up the execution task
