Ganesh is building a background mesh and will use more non-linear iterations on.

Could we create a mesh in Cubit for this? Ganesh is trying with gridpro.

Kevin did a run with system iterations set from 2-5 that is not blowing up. Blew up before FSI.

Kevin is trying to get a better understanding of the parameter sets that work.

Nate suggests that we Parking Lot this to get Phil's and Ganesh's input on parameter sets that might work for this.

Nate working with Pietro to understand what evidence is needed to update IEA15MW if we find structural instability. Addressing that instability not within the milestone.

Summary of meeting tasks, this should close out this task and the following make new/modified tasks.

• Kevin run 15MW power curve with double damping in region III
• Ganesh post process 5MW and get curves/power curve
• We will wrap up milestone and get it in. Narrative is: here is 15MW up to region III normal, and double damping in region III, and 5MW full power curve. There may be issue in 15MW, but we are working on identifying solver vs model issues through Nalu, Nalu-Nalu, Nalu-AMR comparison
• Nate start on Nalu, Nalu-Nalu, Nalu-AMR comparison -- Need to answer solver convergence within one iteration and overall picard iterations convergence. --Maybe use ML tasks to help inform this. Could go to steady state, and then restart with different solver parameters (inner and picard) and observe forces. --End of March FSI milestone is Go-No-Go decision. Having Nalu comparison should be very valuable for March milestone and negotiation with WETO. --If Nalu only is already set up then should try that as it should be close --In parallel do the benchmark problem. To verify beamdyn setup – pass in loads and verify deflections are the same – (pull in Neil).
